Sturgeon’s Law (OI-0104, DAC1451-6) is an uninviting planet. It was colonised when the Infinité from Amondiage made a forced landing with a load of colonists from New Home. Crew and colonists were cut off from the outside for hundreds of years. It was fortunate for them that they landed in the planet’s single sea; the plant-forms growing on the land surface metabolize metal and human protoplasm with equal ease./ Today Sturgeon’s Law is sustained by data sales to traffic travelling between Neubayern, New Home and Elysée. Few ships need to refuel here, and even fewer bother to land.
