St. Geneviève (OI-0503, C460100) is a world of strategic importance, sited on the trade route to Sansterre. Despite its breathable atmosphere, St. Geneviève was never considered suitable for colonisation, on account of its inhospitable deserts. Today, the world has been claimed by a consortium of the Clusters’ richest individuals. Although they claim to be only interested in peace and solitude, their combined wealth, and the strategic importance of their system’s gas giant planet has lead some world leaders to denounce them. The People’s Republic of Neubayern is especially hostile to the Consortium.
