Mask Sigil |
Jason controls the Mask Sigil. He is the most peculiar
member of the Council. He seems to have been embraced relatively recently. He
has never displayed any personal puissance. Most kindred assume that he is
as weak as any century-old neophyte. What's more, he's widely acknowledged
to be mad, in a nice, gentle way. No one is really sure how Jason has managed to keep his seat on the Council for so long. Most believe that one, or perhaps several, of his co-councilors keep him there for their own mysterious reasons.
The Mask Sigil is therefore a refuge for those who wish to separate themselves
from the rough and tumble of political life in London. They are the loners,
the eccentrics, and the downright mad. |

Jason (Councilor for Mask Sigil) |
Impression |
How the hell did he get to be on the Council? Jason is a short, shy, self-effacing little man. He speaks quietly and tentatively. He lacks all confidence, and has numerous nervous, even neurotic little habits. |
Reputation |
An irrelevance. The other members of the Council keep him there because any serious alternative would be a challenge to their own power. |
Lucian |
Impression |
Tall and powerfully built, he comes across as gruff and arrogant. On the
other hand he is straightforward and sometimes charming. You could
certainly trust him, and perhaps even get to like him. It's hard to think of him without remembering his eyes. The old, old tired eyes. |
Reputation |
Lucian is very old and has great puissance. He doesn't seem to have any interest in politics, and keeps himself to himself. |
Sylvester |
Impression |
He is unnervingly direct; he voices desires that few would admit to. This, and his outlandish clothes combine to make him enigmatic and disturbing. |
Reputation |
His Beast isn't far from the surface. He and... that other oneÉ hide away in the cemeteries and mausolea. Good! |
'Ulf |
Impression |
Strong and silent. He speaks little, and when he does he stumbles over his words. He has a strong Northern accent, and seems to have difficulty with his English. It's hard not to think of him as stupid. |
Reputation |
Hrothulf is old, and he hasn't adapted well to the modern age. He keeps to himself, and most kindred simply discount him. |
