4814AD The Slave Ship

The colony on Colchis was initially run by the Overlords of New Home as a huge slave labour camp. This first wave of colonists was huge, by the standards of the Clusters. Nearly a million of New Home's underclass were crammed into the Outward Bound.

Conditions were harsh in the early years. Only about half of the original colonists survived the first two winters.

4895AD Freedom

Colchis was freed after the revolution on New Home when the Outward Bound arrived from New Home a second time in 4895AD. Population at this time mainly consisted of New Home's 'underclass' - with a high proportion of Asian-descended people. An early form of the Wheel of Life was already their main religion.
